Yes. You can use generated assets for personal and commercial projects without paying extra royalties. On the free tier they also appear in the public catalog under your account.
You get 100 credits when you sign up (one-time). The catch: every generation is auto-published to the public catalog. We use those to seed our catalog and improve SEO. Quality and resolution are identical to paid tiers — there's no watermark.
You can top up with a one-time pack (250 credits = $5, up to 2,100 = $40) or upgrade to a monthly plan. Subscriptions give you cheaper credits than one-off top-ups. Top-up credits never expire while your account is active.
Yes — paid plans default to private. If you opt-in to publish to the catalog at generation time you get a 24% credit discount on that image. It's a choice, not a default.
You upload 1-3 reference illustrations. Our vision model extracts a structured "style profile" (palette, line treatment, composition rules). On every future generation that profile is fed into the prompt, keeping characters, colors, and shapes consistent.
A modern frontier image model at medium quality by default. Paid plans (Hobbyist and Pro) unlock high quality (about 4× the credit cost; visually marginal for flat-vector style — recommended for finals only).
Yes. Add `format: "svg"` to the generate request (or pick "SVG" in the UI). We produce a clean editable vector from the PNG — costs extra credits. PNG is always included.
Yes — on paid plans. The API is a paid feature: any paid plan can create an API token from the Keys page and POST /api/generate with a prompt. Full docs at docs.vexelkit.com. Free accounts can't create or use API tokens.
About 15-40 seconds at medium quality. You can pass `?async=true` to get a job id and poll for completion — useful for batch scripts.
